Q
26. If the VL-100kW system, which is making 100kW of power, and the load are
suddenly cut off, the stack produces power for a few seconds. If the battery is
fully charged, where does this power (by remaining H2 and air inside) go? Can
the VL-100kW system consume itself?
A 26. The fuel cell system output power is based on
the power output requested by the load. When the fuel cell system output is 0
when the load is turned off instantly, the system will shut down in an
emergency and trigger code failure because the response is not that
fast. If the power cell SOC is full, I recommend shutting down the fuel
cell system early to allow the system to operate in the 20-90%SOC range Emergency
stop has a high risk of damage to fuel cell stack, and the loading and
unloading speed of the system is relatively slow, so it is suggested to add
batteries to buffer and protect the system
