normally after we get On signal , we will check the sensor and parts , if no problem it will start purging , then in 10seccons we will get power output. as we get power request we will send the power request to the DCDC , the DCDC will control the input current to control the action ,then base the 10-20A/S to increase the power or 20-40A/S to dicrease the power to reach the request power. for example , for 50kw we set the 21kw to the fuelcell system  it will start with the Min. power maybe 5kw , 6kw is 30A 200V， then increase the current 20A/S , slow to 210A 100V  in 9seconds , just for example.

For a warming up system , it can be roughly 10-20A/S power increase and 20-40A /S power decrease ，

Q 36. How long Mixed Coolant (EG & DI water) can be stored in the coolant tank? 

(Hyundai requires 6month to exchange it)

A 36. Fuel cell system antifreeze is mainly concerned with the parameter electrical conductivity, if the cooling loop is very clean, can be stored for about 2 years. Therefore, SSL316 is recommended for HEX.

Q 35. Can we confirm the MIN / MAX allowable power change speed? (Can we share power respond speed chart by different power to check the relativity between temperature and performance)

​

A 35.   What we can promise is an average loading and unloading of 3-5kW/s. It can do 5-10KW /S but there is no guarantee of life quality.

Q 34. Is it possible to design the VL-100kW system as a spark-proof system? KR (End User) requires explosion-proof certified (a system that satisfies Zone 1 grade) Sensor, JB Box, etc.

​

A 34.   Sorry, the vehicle system that this system is mainly oriented to cannot meet the explosion-proof requirements. It involves too many customized parts.

Q 33. Can we apply IEC 62282-2-100 in Shanghai? (Test protocol will be provided by client)

​

A 33. Yes, this involves destructive testing and requires business communication to reach an agreement

​

Q 32. Can we provide “HAZOP” for VL-100kW system? (FMEA & HAZID needs to be provided)

​

A 32.   The basic version of FMEA can be provided after the contract is signed

Q 31. What is the required pressure / flow amount if client use HEX for the Aux radiator?

​

A 31.   Pressure < 2barg, inlet temperature ≤65℃, water flow at 30L/min

Q 30. Can we share Heat amount from each VL-120kW Stack & BOP? (To confirm the HEX size)​

A 30. The system has two heat exchangers, one 180kW and one 18kW, which can meet the heat dissipation requirements. Heat dissipation of fuel cell system can be within 180kW, boost DC and air compressor cooling maximum 8kW

Q 29. Can we share the H2 consumption table or chart by different power? (H2 consumption /hr, by mass flow meter data)

​

A 29. At standard atmospheric pressure, 1kg hydrogen =11.2 standard square

Q 28. KR (End user) is requesting ZONE 1 level safety for the BOP and stack. If DCDC is not suitable for ZONE 1 level safety, can we move the DCDC to the outside? What is the Maximum length of cable between DCDC and Stack?

A 28. We need to evaluate the requirements of Zone1, please help to send them to us. As shown in question 5, it is recommended that the length of the high-voltage cable harness be about 4000mm

Q 27. Can VL-100kW system’s DCDC boosting to 1000V? If need customizing of DCDC how long do we need?

​

A 27. Custom development is required, the cycle needs 6 months, the cost needs business communication

Q 26. If the VL-100kW system, which is making 100kW of power, and the load are suddenly cut off, the stack produces power for a few seconds. If the battery is fully charged, where does this power (by remaining H2 and air inside) go? Can the VL-100kW system consume itself?

​

A 26. The fuel cell system output power is based on the power output requested by the load. When the fuel cell system output is 0 when the load is turned off instantly, the system will shut down in an emergency and trigger code failure because the response is not that fast. If the power cell SOC is full, I recommend shutting down the fuel cell system early to allow the system to operate in the 20-90%SOC range Emergency stop has a high risk of damage to fuel cell stack, and the loading and unloading speed of the system is relatively slow, so it is suggested to add batteries to buffer and protect the system

Q 25. Can client stacking 2-3layers by VL-100kW with using HEX?

​

A 25. Same as in question 2, stacking 2-3 layers is not recommended

​

Q 24. Do you have the requirement of MIN operation in a month or in a year?

​

A 24. Yes, it is recommended to start once a month.
